Left 4 dead and ladder

i am thinking to have a new game called Left 4 dead and ladder!

works the same like snake and ladder just that this time its not just ordinary snake but infected, SI and tanks! we will still have the conventional tanks. so starting point is where we all start, safe house. then u roll dice to see how many steps u can walk and end ur turn. to win this game u need to reach the last safe house which is the top of the map.

If u roll lucky u may reach a ladder and u can climb higher up to shorten ur journey to the saferoom. But be careful as if u roll an unlucky number, zombie , SI and tanks will be waiting for u! depending on who hit you....there are a lot of infected and if you kena u move 1-2 row down. SI would be 3-6/7 and tanks would be 9-8 row down!

Im thinking 10x10 size....what u think? enough big or want bigger?

so give me your opinion and tell me what you think about this game to replace kill or heal game?

what do you mean by 10 x 10? im guessing 10 rows by 10 columns. how exactly survivor going to move forward? what about the ladder? i kinda forget the gameplay of snake & ladder but i remember there is diagonal movement.

ops...forgot to say about the moving method.

its rolling the ride from 1-6. then u move accordingly.

yeah the 10 x 10 is a row and column so we have 100 boxes to reach the last safe house

icic....what about SIs? i assume they will occupy spaces among the 100 boxes and if survivor stop at these boxes then they will need to move backwards. im not sure if aosh can keep track of all these movements.

10*10 would be hard as you need image to show. Rather 10 * 10 boxes, I would say 100 squares to reach the goal.

To able to track the current track. I can add another field in the character sheets to show your current location.

As for SI and ladders we can specify where to put on which location.

maybe we can try 8 x 8? lesser boxes....anyway i think we will need visual presentation of this...create the boxes and show location of SIs, ladders, starting and finishing point. these are just fixed items, showing once is enough.

we can apply the coordinates also so that players knew where they are if given the coordinates. something like chess coordinates.

very impressive work from the engineer! hehe...

for the infected, SI and tanks no need to occupy all the more than 1 box. just with in the 1 box can already. so the higher u go the stronger the more SI u will encounter and if u kena 1 of them u will move down a few rows

it will look something like the original snake and ladder

Left 4 Dead snake and ladder version

In house game rules

  1. All survivals will start at 10A coordinate
  2. Survival will roll dice and depending on the number showns (1-6) u will move accordingly to the right
  3. When at the end of the row (eg 10J), you will move upwards to 9J and continue to the left
  4. If survival stop on a ladder then they can move up the ladder depending where the ladder stops
  5. If survival stop on infected, SI, witch, or tank, they will move down according to the arrow shown
  6. To win this game, the 1st survival that reaches the safe house will be champion.
  7. Lets say you're just 3 steps away from the safe house and you need to roll only 3 to win the game. If you roll more than 3 meaning you (lets say 4), you will stop at 1B (meaning u move back 1 step from safe house). To put it simple you must roll the correct number to stop at safe house or else u will move back words accordingly or else worst....get beaten by tank waiting at 1C and get thrown down 6-7 rows....MUAHAHAHAHAHA!
I guess that's all for the house riles. anything more you want to add in to "SPICE" things up?

ok i will put SIs in one boxes but i think tank and witch should occupy more boxes. i will also eliminate the coordinates and put in number into each boxes just like snake and ladder.

ok here it is. as i suggest before witch and tank should occupy more than 1 boxes. i think each special infected should have different "damage". for witch is 8 steps backward. for tank 10 steps backwards. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

apa la...ur numbering all salah la...u tau kira ar? hehe

those zombies should put at the beginning of the and ask the game go further the more SI u will encouter and last last may be at 98 we can put tank near the safe house so if kena tank will drop far down. should have more zombies, si, and put in a few moer ladder will do but not too many la....

i actually thought of putting more SI, zombie along on 1 box rather than occupying a few boxes but we can try out your lay out 1st and amend on V2

Tofu, do you still have this board with you?

We will need to add another one which is the adrenaline injection.

As for the placement for SI, Ladders, Medic kits and Adrenaline injections, let's all of us decide to place as follow:

- 2 SI placement
- 2 medic kit
- 2 ladders [From to]
- 1 adrenaline injection

The Tank location remain the same. So the 8 SI (boomer, smoker, hunter, witch,etc), first come first place them.

My suggestion:

1) Remove ladder at 80, that is direct win. If direct it to 99 still ok.

2) 99...... Can place Smoker there. So whoever land on it takes damage and being dragged down to maybe 81?

3) 98...... Hunter should be good. Take damage and lose a turn.

4) 97...... Maybe another Tank. This is hilariously fun! 3 box also got damage counts. See whether we can pass through it or not!
